We're building decentralised hybrid wind, solar and storage energy systems to help rural communities access affordable and reliable clean energy. Our technology promises higher efficiency through patented electrical wind flow manipulation.
Transforming communities through sustainable energy innovation
Across Africa, more than 600 million people lack access to reliable electricity, not because energy resources are scarce, but due to expensive, highly centralized systems and significant inefficiencies. In Kenya, 21–23% transmission losses—combined with skewed power purchase agreements and levies—drive grid electricity prices to KSh 33.60 per unit, placing reliable power beyond the reach of many households and enterprises. As a result, rural communities across Kenya and Sub-Saharan Africa continue to rely on polluting kerosene and diesel, exposing families to health risks, constraining economic productivity, and accelerating environmental degradation.
LectraWind was founded to address this challenge. Through plug-and-play hybrid wind–solar microgrids, we enable rapid deployment of affordable, decentralized energy in off-grid communities. By integrating recycled battery storage, we reduce capital costs and electronic waste while harnessing locally available resources within community-owned energy models.
By lowering the levelized cost of electricity by up to 40%, LectraWind delivers clean, reliable power that supports education, healthcare, and livelihoods—contributing meaningfully to Africa's just and inclusive energy transition.
Breakthrough technology for community energy independence
6-10X expected higher energy output through our innovative wind flow manipulation technology, and a 40-60% lower LCOE.
Designed for decentralised energy production where communities own and control their power generation.
Our patented design combines solar panels, electric wind manipulation and storage solutions to offer a plug-to-play system for consumers.
Currently in prototyping phase, our innovative approach combines electrical wind manipulation, AI prediction, hybrid energy sources, and patented structural design.
Proprietary technology optimizes airflow capture, through structural design and electric manipulation increasing efficiency in diverse conditions by a projected 120%.
Advanced algorithms predict wind & solar patterns 30 minutes ahead for optimal energy production. Through smart grids we also effectively distribute and manage power minimising power loses.
Combines wind turbines, solar trackers, and recycled battery storage to achieve an estimated 40-60% lower LCOE and reliable 24/7 power generation.
